The province of Ourense in Spain is located in the northwest of the country and is part of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. The administrative center of Ourense is the same name city.

To be acquainted with the historical heritage of the province, you can visit the archaeological museum, which presents many monuments of the Roman, Romanesque and Gothic period. In the small town of Ribadavia, 18 km from Ourense, tourists will find the ancient Gothic cathedral of Santo Domingo.
