Information

The province of Navarre in Spain is an autonomous region in the northern part of the country, at the border with France and base of the western Pyrenees. The capital of the province is the city of Pamplona.

The peculiarity of this autonomous region (as well as other northern regions of Spain) is the mountainous terrain and the lack of heat in the summer. Spaniards, Frenchmen, Englishmen and immigrants from other European countries come to rest in Navarre. Landlockedness reduces popularity; however, many foreigners come in Navarre for another purpose - to buy a land plot or residential property.

Real State

According to statistics, both Spaniards and foreign citizens are happy to buy apartments and houses here, despite the considerable cost of facilities. Why this northern region of Spain is so attractive?

  • Fresh air. Mountains, forests and meadows determine the good environmental conditions.

  • Good geographical location.  Living in Navarre opens up many opportunities. Literally on the border is France. Trip to Andorra, where are located a lot of balneological and ski resorts, will take a few hours. Opposite there is San Sebastian and other resort towns along the coast.

  • Good climate. The lack of high temperatures makes staying here comfortable all year round.

  • Profitable investments. Experts note that prices in Navarre are moving at a fast pace, so timely investments promise good payback.

  • High standards of living. Sale and lease of apartments in Navarre is in demand. It is explained by a high standard of living compared to the general indicators in the country. The same goes for salaries.

Attractions

Since Navarra is land-locked, beach tourism lovers can not have fun here. However, this province is a great confirmation that Spain is not only beaches and nightlife, but also rich culture and history.

Having arrived in Pamplona, you should immediately go to the heart of the city - the old part of the settlement. Here is the Gothic cathedral, built in 1397-1527. Now it houses the Museum of Religious Arts. It is also worth to see the oldest in Spain Taconera Park, which functioned in the 18th century.. The city is also famous for the arena where bullfights are regularly organized.

Moreover, Pamplona is not the only city in the province, which can boast a long history. In Olita is situated Palacio Real de Olite palace, where the kings of Navarre lived before.
