Another airport which already belongs to a different province is Katowice international airport, to get there you can take private mini buses at Krakow's central bus station, the trip will take you approximately 1,5 hour.
The public transportation in the capital of Lesser Poland Voivodeship circulates from 5.00 til 23.00. You can buy a ticket according to the time of your trip, 15 min, 45 min, 90 min etsc. You can make any connections and this ticket will be valid during chosen time. There are a lot of tram and bus lines in traffic which provide fast transportation to any point of the city and its outskirts. Good public transportation allows you not to use your own vehicle, which will save your time in traffic jams which are quite often in Krakow.

Lesser Poland Voivodeship are sounds of Krakow's Hejnal and magic music, which appear in the wooden walls of old houses and churches and any tourist will find something interesting. You can go to the magical Tatry mountains. In winter Tatry offers great slopes for skiing and in summer its incredible place for hiking. And for sure, one of the biggest attractions is the capital of the region - Krakow. Thousands of tourists visit this old emblematic city to enjoy its unique architecture, walk by colorful streets, taste local food and feel its unforgettable atmosphere. The main square of Krakow is one of the biggest medieval squares in Europe. The square from the middle of the XIII century was the commercial, social and administrative center of the city. This monumental square (200 x 200 meters) was founded in the first years after Krakow was destroyed by Mongolians and is a good example of medieval city design. On the territory of Main Square and near it there are a lot of Krakow's sightseeing. The perimeter of the square is surrounded by lines of beautiful townhouses. At the beginning of the XX century they took neoclassical facades but the buildings in themselves are much older. Don't forget to taste local cuisine, one of the options can be the old restaurant Wierzynek which has existed since the middle ages. In this restaurant the emperor of the Roman Empire Carl IV and Elezaveta Pomorskaya celebrated their wedding.
