The most expensive houses are located within walking distance to the beach. So, in Zarautz, a villa on the beach can cost 2-4 million euros. Options that are more modest can be found for 300-500 thousand euros. If you need even cheaper - you can buy a land plot in Gipuzkoa and build a house on your own.

• By plane. Airport is located 22 km from the administrative city of San Sebastian.  Another option is to fly to the nearest Spanish airports, and then use ground transport.  

• By train. Such trip can be called one of the most affordable. You can get to San Sebastian by rail from most major cities in Spain. In addition, from Lisbon and Paris.

• By bus. There are many buses from nearby provinces, as well as from Milan and Barcelona.

Buses and trains represent domestic transport, so traveling between the provincial towns will not cause difficulties.

Tourists who come to this province, most often travel to San Sebastian, because it is the largest city in Gipuzkoa. In the old part of the city you should definitely see the basilica called Santa Maria del Coro, which was built in the classical Baroque style. There is also a neo-Gothic building dating back to the 19th century - the Church of St. Vincent.

Those who came to relax on the coast can visit the famous beach in the form of a crescent - Playa de la Concha. This calm place is surrounded by tropical lush vegetation and is ideal for relaxation.
 

There is an island with a lighthouse in the heart of the bay, which is surrounded by sailing yachts. On the right side of the island stands a statue of Christ. On the left side, there is an amusement park.
 

The quiet beach of Playa de Ondaretta is more suitable for a family holiday, and Playa de Surriolla is ideal for a noisy company and surfing fans.
