Lower Silesian Voivodeship is located in the South West of the country, its area is around 20 thousand sq. Metres and 3 million people live there. The administrative centre of the region is Wroclaw. The itinerary of the day bus is from train station to the airport and night one is from bus station to airport, the trip takes 30 min approximately.
To move inside the city you can go by tram or by bus to get fast and comfortable to reach any part of the city. For both kinds of transportation a unique ticket is valid. Public transportation offers to the citizens and visitors of the city services of day lines (from 05.00 till 23.00) and night lines (from 23.30 till 05.00). The tickets for night buses and trams are a little bit more expensive than for day ones. In Wroclaw you can also find cable ways which you can use to get to the other side of the river.

As we already mentioned Wroclaw has a lot of Islands and bridges through them which makes it comparable with Italian Venice. Also the city has a lot of historical, cultural and architectural objects. Should be mentioned Wroclaw Cathedral - impressive building in gothic style, Wroclaw zoo, the oldest and biggest one in whole Poland and officially called Wroclaws Botanic Garden, King Palace in Barocco style, Market square (second one by its size after Krakow's one). Wroclaw is covered by a lot of parks, the biggest one is Shytninskyi, which occupies several kilometres. Another attraction of Wroclaw is its University, there are 28 Universities in the city. The biggest are Wroclaw University, Wroclaw Economic University and Wroclaws Polytechnic university. Wroclaws University is one of the most popular among foreign students. It is the unique university in Wroclaws which offers the exchange program ISEP. The most popular specialities that students choose in Wroclaws universities are jurisdiction, medicine, economy, tourism, social sciences and English courses.
One of the original and emblematic places of the province is the underground complex Giant - The secrets of the third Reich in Lower Silesian, real secret of the Second World War. None does not know for sure the real destination of this construction but some people think it was built by Gitler in order to survive a nuclear war. It was supposed that that bunker would have a capacity of 100 thousand people, so the real dimension is still not known. For the fans of bicycles one of the attractions is a road of 4 castles or bicycle adventures near Wroclaw - an interesting bicycle route through the castles of 19 century. One more interesting bicycle route is around Metkowkiy lake - the biggest one in Lower Silesian Voivodeship. During your ride you will find beautiful views, unbelievable nature, romantic atmosphere, friendly people, rural landscapes and abandoned castles.
