Mallorca (or Majorca) is a Mediterranean resort island - the largest in the Balearic archipelago. It is distinguished by an amazing tropical climate, the diversity of natural beauty and gorgeous sandy beaches. Not surprisingly that Mallorca since the days of ancient Rome was famous as a resort destination, rich in fruit and wine. The first town (and survived to the present day) - Palma de Mallorca and Alcudia were founded at that time – in the 1st century BC.

Active holiday on Majorca is not that common, except, perhaps, a yacht club and tennis courts, which are available in almost every hotel.
