There are a lot of advantages to this kind of work: no need to wake up in the morning, waste time on the road, stand in traffic jams and be dependent on weather conditions. • You need to concentrate on work, so there should not be anything in the design of the room that would distract you. Therefore, white, peach, black, gray colors are ideal for walls and furniture. It will also be good if you make one of the walls blue or green - looking at such a wall for several minutes a day contributes to relaxation. What will it be: wallpaper or paint, it's up to you to choose.
• The floor covering must be done the same as in the whole house. It can be laminate, linoleum or carpet. You can cover the floor with a soft warm carpet under your feet. Ceiling decoration should also match the design throughout the house.
• Furniture plays a huge role in the home office. It must be made of durable material. Classic wood tables with many drawers are out of fashion now, so it is better to choose a table design so that it is convenient to work both sitting and standing. From the same material, you can find a chair. It should be properly located relative to the table so that you can sit comfortably all day. On the table you need to put a computer, working papers and, if necessary, a printer. Everything else should be in boxes. Cluttered with papers, stickers,etcetera will only distract you from work.
• You can put a leather sofa or armchair, a coffee table and a bookcase in this room so that during your lunch break you can relax and read pleasant literature over a cup of coffee. In this room, if it is necessary, business meetings can be held.
• Lighting should be located from the top and diffused throughout the room. It is not bad to put an additional source of light on the desktop - a lamp. It must be placed in such a way that there are no shadows and, at the same time, it does not blind with bright light.
• It is also worth abandoning any shiny surfaces, figurines and other unnecessary things. You can put a small aquarium or fountain instead, because watching the water is relaxing and peaceful.
